Pestana Palace & Vandelli garden in Lisbon
In the heart of Lisbon, the Pestana Palace Lisboa stands as one of the city’s most breathtaking romantic wedding venues in Portugal, a timeless blend of elegance, history, and modern luxury. Recognized as a National Monument, this 19th-century palace was envisioned as a private “Versailles” in the Alto de Santo Amaro district.
Designed with Italian influence and adorned with artworks by Carlos Reis, it offers an unforgettable setting for wedding day preparations. This luxury Portugal wedding venue provides an incredible experience not only for couples celebrating their destination wedding in Lisbon, but also for anyone who appreciates art, architecture, and contemporary sophistication.
The wedding celebration continued at the Vandelli Garden, a historic garden known for its graceful symmetry, timeless charm, and freely wandering peacocks. The beautifully decorated stairs for the ceremony, enhanced by the florists’ unique artistry, created a truly magical and memorable atmosphere, far from a typical wedding floral styling. One of my favorite gardens in Lisbon, Vandelli Garden is the perfect place to celebrate love under the open sky.
